Giving Back Charity Event

The lovely Kym Clark did a charity event a few days ago at Bosco's where she was a celebrity waiter. The event was sponsered by The Wake-Up Crew at Rock 103 and was to benefit the Ronald McDonald House. She gave up her evening to give something back to the community, to help the less fortunate, to show that she is a kind giving soul - and all she got out of it was this picture of herself with that dude from Saliva. Oh, the sacrifice.

Bush Doctrine v6.0

From: Media Whores Online

The Bush Doctrine: Preemptive invasion of nuclear-armed armed unarmed third world countries that will could "would love to" attack the US immediately soon, with nuclear weapons with bio or chem WMD if only they were armed.

Daily Kos on the Latest Bush Doctrine:

There you have it. It didn't matter whether Iraq posed a threat or not. Bush still would've invaded because Iraq wanted to be a threat.

So every classroom nerd deserves to be beaten by the bully, because those nerds all fantasize about besting the bully. (I know, I was a classroom nerd.)

The Blue Monkey Chance Meeting

I ran into a very old friend the other night at The Blue Monkey. Brandon McGovern used to play in a band called Broken Silence when I was in high school. I briefly dated two of the band members, but I always had a crush on Brandon. We made out one night, but I wouldn't sleep with him. I knew that if I did, I would have fallen in love with him. Anyway, our brothers have been friends for many years, but we lost touch after I graduated high school and the band broke up. I used to have a cassette of some demos that they did and listened to it so much that I wore it out. We chatted for a few minutes and I learned that he put out an album last year. You can go here and hear clips from it. I like it a lot.

The Super Boob

I went to Daniel's new pad tonight for a little superbowl shindig. We basically all stuffed ourselves with junk food and babbled, pausing only for the commercials. We did quiet down for the half-time show which we figured would be the most entertaining part of the evening. I was a little disappointed with it though. It seemed to all be music from two or more years ago, nothing new, nothing interesting. Of course, that was until the final moments when Justin pulled off part of Janet Jackson's top and she flashed her boobie. We all sat in awe for a few moments. Then we rewound the DVR a few times to catch a better glimpse of what had just happened. I guess Justin got Britney back, too bad she wasn't in the audience for them to cut to her reaction. I guess Janet really needs the publicity for her new album. The story is all ready all over the internet. Guess who is going to be the most googled keyword for the next week?

UPDATE:Now, Justin is claiming that the whole thing was unintentional! Come On!
